Pool Lifeguard

It is recognised that those professionally responsible for patrolling a venue – be it a pool, lake or river – require additional skills and knowledge over and above those required by a qualified lifesaver. However, those wishing to become lifeguards need to first qualify as lifesavers, where they will learn a wide range of water safety, swimming, lifesaving and resuscitation skills. These qualifications should include theRoyal Life Saving Bronze MedallionandRoyal Life Saving First Aid certificate. Those without these qualifications can choose to undertake thePool Lifeguard Training Packagewhere all three courses will be delivered. The Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard course offers professional training and qualification. Essential modules such as accident prevention, administration, public relations, education, rescue response and basic technical operations are all included and provide participants with a level of skill that is known worldwide.
